Ceres-La Salle FC will face an unfamiliar foe in Agila MSA FC on May 18, 4pm, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Agila MSA completely revamped their lineup on the break adding most of the players from UAAP finalists Ateneo de Manila University.
The Bacolod squad have not faced Agila since 2014 in the UFL second division where they beat the MSA squad twice en route to their promotion to the first division. Agila has earned a point from two of its games, losing its first match via default and scoring a draw against Pasargad.
Ceres has a win and a draw in league competition, losing its opener against Loyola and recovering against Nomads. It will be the Busmen’s last league match before they face Hong Kong’s South China AA in the AFC Cup Round of 16 on May 24 in Bacolod.
