The Philippines Football League was launched last April 21 at the Grand Ballroom in Shangrila at the Fort. Ceres-Negros FC was in full attendance for the said event together with the other seven participating clubs, PFF Officals, official sponsors, and the media.
Issa Litton was the master of ceremonies in the event that saw the presentation of teams, the official league video, a song number called “the beautiful game”, and a creative lights and dance number.
PFF President Mariano “Nonong” Araneta gave his speech which summarized the four-year journey towards the creation of the league.
Ceres Coach Risto Vidakovic and Captain Carli de Murga was presented in the launch. They were given the official ball from Mitre.

The highlight of the night was the fixtures draw where Ceres Director Ali Go picked the number 1 slot.
With the draw completed for all teams, Ceres will have their PFL debut in the opening match of the league when they play Kaya away at the University of Makati Stadium on May 6.
