Stephan Schröck was more than delighted when he knew that the home matches for the AFF Suzuki Cup will be held in the the island of Negros.
“If you have to choose where you have to play the home games of the Azkals, it would be in Negros, in Bacolod,” said the Ceres-Negros star.”
“Because they have the best crowd, the loudest cheering, and the biggest support. I’m so happy and glad that they could arrange to have our home games here,” he added.
Schröck has had plenty of success with Ceres-Negros in both the domestic and international stage and credits the home support for their contribution on what they have achieved.
The former Bundesliga star now wishes that the same support will be amplified on a bigger scale once the Azkals begin their AFF Championship campaign when they face Singapore on November 13 in Panaad.
“It will be necessarily needed to have our twelfth man in the stands and I’m inviting all the fans in Bacolod and Negros to come and support us to watch our game,” said Schröck.
“We will not fail and we will make them proud,” the longtime Azkal added.
Tickets for the Singapore match are still available via SM tickets until November 12 or they can purchase Suzuki Cup tickets at the venue on match day.
Fans can still purchase tickets for the Thailand match until November 20 at SM Tickets.
