Ott trains sight on Shan United match

Mike Ott scored the game winner last week against Persija Jakarta but the Philippine International isn’t resting on his laurels heading into an important match with Shan United.

“We were very happy that we won the game last week and we will try to focus on this coming game,” said Ott. “We really know that its a tough game tomorrow and I hope we get three points.”

Though the Philippine champs were victorious against the Myanmar representatives, the conditions will be a factor as the extreme weather conditions would be a factor in the match.

“The heat plays a major role,” said the midfielder. “We need to be hydrated. We’ve already played a lot of games here in very hot conditions,” he added.

The added experience would help the busmen in their hopes of punching a ticket to the next round. “We know what we need to do and were focused on that,” Ott added.

Kickoff for Shan United versus Ceres-Negros is set a 330PM in Yangon (5PM PHL) with the match shown live over 5PLUS and Fox Sports.
