Mulders: I hope that I can help the team go higher

Paul Mulders is no stranger to Ceres-Negros. The lanky midfielder was instrumental in the clubs success in the past years and his return won’t be any different.

“Its nice to be back again,” said the long-time national player. “I’ve known the guys for a long time and they’re like brothers to me. I’ve always felt warm in Ceres-Negros,” he added.

Though he is already comfortable with the club, the former Erevidisie veteran stressed that he didn’t come to relax but to contribute well in the crucial stages of season.

“I didn’t come here to go on a holiday. I always try to do my best, to make statements, and to help the team. I hope that I can help the team go higher and that everybody helps each other,” said Mulders.

The veteran playmaker also lauded the achievements of the club with the ASEAN Zone title and is looking to forward to help make history in the coming weeks.

“I hope we can go further than what they did last year. It was a good achievement in the AFC Cup as no Filipino team has reached that stage. I think the next goal is go a step further if possible,” Mulders added.
