Ingreso: It’s gonna be tough like last Saturday

Kevin Ingreso scored the the vital equalizer when they played Kaya FC in Iloilo last Saturday. It was the home squad who went ahead in the tightly contested match but the Ceres midfielder delivered from a free kick to salvage a point for the busmen.

“I was actually just hoping that we were somehow gonna score,” said the 25-year old. “A draw in an away game against Kaya is good and I was just the lucky one to score the free kick,” he added.

The former Hamburg youth player has been preparing well from set pieces this season and the result was evident last Saturday afternoon.

“I’ve been working hard for this in training and finally it worked out. So i was very happy about it,” said the current national player.

Ceres-Negros are nine points ahead of Kaya in the league but have played one game more than them. A good result in the coming match will bode well for the Negros squad and everyone is keen to do well in the next match.

“We’re looking forward for the game. It’s gonna be a tough like last Saturday. We just wanna get a good game and hoopefully get the three points,” he added.
