Dizon happy with Ceres move

Ceres-Negros recruit Curt Dizon was in high spirits when we caught up with him for his first interview with ceresfootball.com. Dizon had just completed his first training session in Panaad and the midfielder was very positive with his experience after his recent transfer.

“I’m obviously happy with the move,” said the former Global and Meralco player. “Its a Big club. Its a new journey for me, an opportunity to show what i can do on a different stage.”

He has already made his mark in the group stage of the AFC Cup when he scored against Bali United whilst playing for Global but his appearance for the club we shortened after a freak accident in his opening PFL match last March.

Though having played a handful of matches with his former club, Dizon was still very thankful for the experience. “I wish all the boys in Global the best. They treated me very well. It was short but i enjoyed my time there,” he added.

It didn’t take long before his new club made a good  impression on him in training. Dizon was delighted with the healthy competition around the club  which motivates him to fight for his place in the starting eleven.

“I’m just looking to show my positivity by taking on players, creating chances, and maybe score some goals. Hopefully, that will get me to the team but you’ll never know. Football is unpredictable but I’m looking forward to this new challenge and see what I can bring to the team,” Dizon added.
