Ceres-La Salle FC fell to Tampines Rovers 2-1 in the RHB Singapore Cup Semifinals first leg last Aug 21 at the Jurong West Stadium in Singapore.
Tampines Captain Mustafic Fahrudin opened the scoring in the 12th minute and Bienvenido Maranon scored an equalizer just five minutes later. Sufian Anuar scored the decider in the 49th minute while Maranon failed to capitalize on a penalty in the second half to level the match.
The second leg is scheduled on Aug 24 at the Jalan Besar Stadium also in Singapore.
