Ceres-Negros lands veteran Toni Doblas

Ceres-Negros FC is pleased to announce the arrival of Toni Doblas as a new player for the club in the coming season.

The 37-year old goalkeeper comes to the club with an extensive resume which includes stints in La Liga and Seria A. The 1.90m goalkeeper also has stints in Finland, Azerbaijan, and in Asia with Indian club Delhi Dynamos.

The Spaniard has earned won trophies starting with the Copa del Ray in the 2004-2005 season with Real Betis and the Coppa Italia in the 2013-2014 season with Napoli. He has also won league and cup titles with Finnish club HJK Helsinki.

Doblas’ experience at goal will be vital as Ceres-Negros embarks in its first AFC Champions League qualifying campaign which starts on January 16 in Yangon, Myanmar.
