Ceres-Negros extended its six game winning run with a 12-0 victory over Philippine Air Force last July 13 at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona Cavite. The busmen were relentless in both halves scoring six goals in each.

A promising start for the Airmen was stalled when Stephan Schrock intercepted a weak back pass before assisting Bienvenido Maranon for the opening goal in the 4th minute.

Miguel Tanton threw the opponents off guard when he scored off a corner five minutes later to make it 2-0. Schrock joined the scoring in the 22nd when a cross from Angelo Marasigan bounced towards the midfielder who volleyed it near the second post. He later completed his brace after heading in a Jeffrey Christiaens delivery.

OJ Porteria had a golden chance of his own in front of goal but keeper Kenneth Dolloso positioned himself well to block the attempt. Curt Dizon had another chance four minutes from time but the keeper made another fine save.

Maranon scored his second in the 42nd minute after redirecting a Schrock pass. The Spaniard earned his brace minutes later with a beauty from the edge of the box to make it 6-0.

The start of the second half wasn’t as energetic as the first but a mistake from substitute keeper John Kent Delariarte made things worse for the Air Force. The keeper was caught kneeing Maranon on a set piece and was sent off for his error.

Midfielder Romeo Martinez stepped in to man the sticks but he was almost caught when Marasigan’s long cross slammed the crossbar. The makeshift keeper did well to punch a Schrock cross in the 68th but conceded a minute later of a lovely strike from Dizon.

The Ceres winger had a chance to get his brace but skied a shot off his weaker foot. Substitute Mike Ott didn’t waste time by scoring two quick goals upon entry. The current national team player completed a team goal in the 76th while he converted of a rebound from Schrocks attempt minutes later.

Schrock completed his hat trick five minutes from time after his nutmeg off the keeper trickled its way into goal. Ott would complete the scoring in the dying minutes, adding two more to complete the 12-0 victory.
